The tick volcano, northeast of Alpha Regio, Venus
Magellan radar image of the type volcanic feature known as
a 'tick', northeast of Alpha Regio, Venus. These features
are characterized by a caldera within a smooth depression
surrounded by a raised rim with radial spurs. The rim in
this case has a diameter of about 30 km. North is up.
