Voyager 2 false-color image showing Saturn's North
Temperate Belt, the brown area at lower right, from
a distance of 6.4 million km. This image was created
from violet, blue, and green filter frames. The
bright shape at lower left has been coiled by wind
shear. To the south (north is at about 11:00) winds
blow to the west at 20 meters per second (72 km/hr),
while to the north, within the white zone, they blow
over 130 meters per second (470 km/hr) to the east.
This image has resolution of 60 km/pixel.
