The Orinoco and Essequibo rivers in South America on Earth

Earth
Gemini 10 photograph of the Orinoco and Essequibo rivers in South America. The mouth of the Orinoco is at the left and the Essequibo near the center. The rivers flow out of the dense rain forests of Venezuela and Guyana, respectively, and pout large amounts of silt and mud into the Atlantic. The morning sun heating the forest produced the complex patterns of cumulus clouds. (Gemini 10, S66-46054)
