Time span: 1978-08-13 to 1987-03-28
This collection contains modulated radio data, at 108-s resolution. The data pertain to solar type III radio bursts. The S dipole antenna lies in the spin plane; the Z dipole lies along the spacecraft spin axis.
Measurements were made in 12 frequency channels, between 30 and 1980 kHz, in each of two bandwidths, 10 kHz and 3 kHz. The complete sequence was covered in 108 seconds. Parameters included are time, various S and Z sample averages for 12 frequency channels, mode, spacecraft GSE coordinates, and Z dipole configuration.
Data sets ASRA-00008 and ASRA-00004 are similar, but at 1.5-s resolution, and ASRA-00008 has been analyzed (despun) to yield source longitude and elevation angles.
