This data set consists of experimenter-supplied magnetic tapes written in DCS binary format on an IBM 7090/7094 computer. Logical and physical records have 751 and 460 words, respectively. Each logical data record contains the time for the first data point, and the Cartesian components of 500 successive magnetic field vectors. Since one data point was obtained every 0.3 sec, each logical record covers 2.5 min of data. Field components are given in a coordinate system with X radially outward from the local lunar surface and Y and Z tangent to the surface and directed eastward and northward, respectively. The data cover the period from November 19, 1969, through April 3, 1970, with the following gaps -- December 12 through December 18, 1969, January 4 through January 17, 1970, February 3 through February 15, 1970, and March 6 through March 17, 1970.
