This data collection holds the derived spectral data from the Voyager 1 and 2 Ultraviolet Spectrometer (UVS) subsystem, as well as ancillary files. It contains maps of hydrogen Lyman-alpha and molecular hydrogen bands derived from Voyager 1 and 2 UVS observations obtained during North/South mapping sequences of Jupiter and Saturn. The incorporated pointing information has been updated with image navigation techniques (C-smithed). Data are grouped in subdirectories for each of the two planets; within each subdirectory are the data files (further separated by spacecraft) and the associated PDS label files. These data are PDS IDs VG1/VG2-J-UVS-5-BRIGHTNESS-N/S-MAPS-V1.0 and VG1/VG2-S-UVS-5-BRIGHTNESS-N/S-MAPS-V1.0 held on volume VG_2101.
