This data set contains 7 separate gravity products, all derived from cycle 4 Magellan gravimetry. Four of these are gridded digital data necessary to produce maps. These are: 1) The Bouguer Map Data Record (BOUGDR), necessary to produce a Bouguer anomaly map; 2) The Geoid Map Data Record (GEOIDR), to contour a geoid map on a plotting system; 3) The Gravity Data Record (GRAVDR), to produce a map of gravitational acceleration in milligals at constant altitude; and 4) The Topographic Data Record (TOPODR), a topographic map specific to the gravity experiment (different from the TOPODR data set from the SAR experiment). There are also 3 separate spherical harmonics data records, which consist of digital tabulations of spherical harmonic coefficients. These are: 1) The Spherical Harmonics Gravity ASCII Data Record (SHGADR) which has the coefficients for the gravity data in ASCII format, estimated from the Doppler data; 2) The Spherical Harmonics Gravity Binary Data Record (SHGBDR), which has the coefficients for the gravity, estimated from the Doppler data, in binary format; and 3) The Spherical Harmonics Topography ASCII data record (SHTADR), which has the coefficients for the topography in ASCII format estimated from the Doppler data. These data are in UNIX tar format.
