AUSSAT B-2, also known as Optus B-2, was an Australian geostationary communications spacecraft launched by a Long March booster from the Xichang center in the People's Republic of China. Tracking stations had been unable to receive any signals from the spacecraft, at least for several days after its launch, because the launch rocket exploded 45 seconds after launch.
