GEO-IK was a Russian spacecraft launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome by a Tsiklon-3 booster rocket. It is intended to carry out a geodetic survey of the earth. It also carried experimental "Elekon" positioning equipment to monitor movements of land and sea transportations, to optimize and increase efficiency.
