Soyuz-TMA 3M, a Russian manned satellite, was launched from Baikonur on 21 December 2011 at 01:16 UT by a Soyuz rocket. The Soyuz spacecraft successfully docked to the International Space Station's (ISS) Mini Research Module-1 (MRM-1) "Rassvet" Nadir docking port at 15:19 UT on 23 December 2011. Soyuz-TMA 3M carried a crew of three, a Russian cosmonaut, an ESA astronaut, and a NASA astronaut. The three joined their colleagues on-board the ISS and will remain there until May 2012.
Soyuz-TMA 3M is planned to remain docked to the ISS until 16 May, whereupon it will undock and land in Kazakhstan.
