ISO Archiving Standards - Eighteenth US Workshop

The goal of this workshop is to prepare proposed responses to early comments on the Open Archival Information System (OAIS) Reference Model, which is out for review as an ISO Draft International Standard and as a CCSDS Red Book. As needed, other issues will be addressed regarding the development of materials to support development of draft ISO standards supporting the long term preservation of analog and digital information. The focus is the preservation of information obtained from observations of the terrestrial and space environments. However, preservation of information obtained from other environments is not precluded from these efforts.

Participation in the workshop is open to those who plan to attend US meetings and who intended to generate material for the Archiving Reference Model.
