Dr. Ryszard (Rich) Pisarski, an X-ray astrophysicist, has recently been named head of the Astrophysics Data Facility (ADF) within Goddard's Space Science Data Operations Office (SSDOO). For the past several years Rich has been in charge of an ADF group responsible for the pipeline processing of data from the Roentgen Satellite (ROSAT) and the Advanced Satellite for Cosmology and Astrophysics (ASCA) X-ray missions and for providing the resulting data to the guest observers associated with those missions. He replaces Dr. Roger Dilling, who has moved to the SSDOO staff level with responsibility for the NASA Automated Systems Incident Response Capability (NASIRC) Office and for other activities.
