New Data Arrive at NSSDC
Volume 11, Number 3, September 1995
By Joseph King
Several long-term data sets continue to be received at NSSDC and to be ingested
to the NSSDC Data Archive and Distribution System (NDADS) for network
accessibility. Among the data sets arriving at NSSDC for the first time in the
past four months are Clementine raw images on CD-ROMs (see NSSDC News,
June 1995), ISEE 3 cosmic ray composition data from the Heckman/Wiedenbeck
experiment, and San Marco data. (See "San Marco Data to Become
Network-Accessible" in this issue.)
Data sets initially ingested to NDADS since the last newsletter include 4-s and 1-min ISEE 1 and ISEE 2 magnetometer data, LANL electron-based solar wind parameters from ISEE 3, and DE 2 full resolution (16 vectors/s) magnetometer data. Also, some data sets previously ingested to NDADS have been newly ingested in ASCII format.
