New Orleans Riverwalk Moon Tree

Loblolly Pine planted in June 1983 on the New Orleans riverwalk.

The tree is now gone, it sustained some damage during hurricane Katrina. It is not clear that this was the reason the tree was removed. It was removed sometime between December 2005 and August 2006, the plaque has been removed as well.
