The Planetary Plasma Interactions Node of the Planetary Data System has
been providing information services to the space physics community since
1988. Currently we have deployed our third generation system. This system
using the philosphies and technologies now called data warehousing. We
have also extended the common model of data warehousing to a distributed
paradigm. This implementation of a distributed data warehouse is modular
in design with a variety of applications. Data warehouses ranging in
size from a collection of files on a magnetic disk, to a single CD-ROM
to CD-ROM jukeboxes to combinations of all possible media can be constructed.
Also access is possible through a world wide web interface, as well as local
stand alone applications. Our demonstration will include the presentation
of the PDS/PPI Science Information System and the various services provided.
