• View and Retrieve ionograms in CDF format on SPDF's CDAWeb system
  Includes all ISIS 1 and 2 standard resolution ionograms in CDF format (skeleton_tables: ISIS 1, ISIS 2). First time users please read the separate Comments and Viewing Instructions.
• Retrieve binary data from NSSDC's anonymous ftp site:
  • Standard resolution ionogram data in OS2 binary
  • Header files with information for each satellite pass
  • Topside electron density profiles obtained with TOPIST
  • Electron density profiles obtained by manuel scaling in the seventies.
Also available on request:
• Binary full resolution ionograms with 3.75 km apparent-range resolution instead of 15 km for the standard ionograms [ISIS 1 and ISIS 2 format description]
• Telemetry-level Pulse Code Modulation data for all ISIS 2 instruments [PCM format description]
• Locate data for specified dates, times and other search criteria. Currently only ISIS 1 and ISIS 2 data are considered.
