Voyager 1 blue-filter image of Saturn taken from 7.6 million km.
This image was taken on 7 November 1980, only 5 days before
closest approach, and shows much atmospheric and ring structure.
The shadow of the rings is easily seen on the planet, and part of
Saturn can be seen through the Cassini division. The resolution
of this image is about 60 km/pixel. The frame is roughly
56,000 km across and north is at about 1:30.
