Image of Saturn's moon Tethys taken by Voyager 2 on 26 August 1981. The 1050 km diameter satellite has a large valley, Ithaca Chasma, 50 to 100 km wide, that extends nearly two-thirds of the way around the circumference. Ithaca Chasma is visible running diagonally from center-left to upper right of the image. The north pole is at 1:00 and the resolution of this image is about 3 km/pixel. (Voyager 2, FDS 44003.57
