Voyager 2 image of Uranus' satellite Umbriel. Umbriel has the darkest surface and least contrast of the five large satellites of Uranus. Umbriel's surface is covered with impact craters, the bright ring at the top of the image is the 131 km diameter crater, Wunda, centered at 8 S, 274 E. Umbriel has a diameter of about 1170 km. This image was made using violet and clear filters. (Voyager 2, P-29502)
