This Viking 1 Orbiter image of Pickering crater on Mars shows the edge of a large volcanic flow which originated from Arsia Mons, about 1500 km away. Flow fronts are visible within the 120 km diameter crater near the central peak. The image is about 280 km across and north is at ~1:30. (Viking Orbiter 056A12)
