Stereo pair of embedded craters, Mercury

Mercury
Mariner 10 stereo pair of embedded craters on Mercury. The embedded craters at the upper left of the images are themselves within the 390 km Dostoevskij crater, the rim of which can be seen in the lower half of the image. The image on the left was taken during the first flyby, and that on the right during the second. The outer crater is about 120 km in diameter and north is to the left.
