Mass Analyzer Data

NSSDCA ID: PSFP-00115

Availability: At NSSDC, Ready for Offline Distribution (or Staging if Digital)

Time span: 1969-11-19 to 1975-03-14

Description

This data set contains time, energy level, counts in each of the 20 mass channels of the Mass Analyzer (10 to 1000 amu/Q), potential difference between the instrument and the lunar surface, and other housekeeping parameters. These data are on IBM-compatible tapes. Words are 24-bit binary integers with negative numbers represented as 2's complement. There are 28 words per logical record and 100 logical records blocked into each physical record. Two standard tapemarks are written after the last physical record to signify the end of the data on the tape. When reliable data are not available, -1's are inserted.
