This data set contains time, counts in each of the 20 energy channels of the Total Ion Detector (3500 eV down to 10 eV), potential difference between the instrument and the lunar surface, and other housekeeping parameters. These data are on IBM-compatible tapes. Words are 24-bit binary integers with negative numbers represented as 2's complement. There are 28 words per logical record and 100 logical records blocked into each physical record. Two standard tapemarks are written after the last physical record to signify the end of the data on the tape. When reliable data are not available, -1's are inserted. Digitized plots of 20-minute averages of these data, covering one lunation per plot, are available in data set PSFP-00716.
