Description

These experimenter-supplied, Jupiter encounter cosmic ray data are on mixed-mode magnetic tape created on an IBM 360 computer. Each tape contains nine files consisting of a number of flux time-history records. Each record contains a count of the number of data items whose time-history is included in the record; a count of the number of averaging intervals; definitions of data items included in the record; and averaging interval entries containing time in year, month, day, hour, minute, and second, and a flux word consisting of one of nine available proton and electron flux rates.
