This data collection contains calibrated data taken by New Horizons UV Imager instrument during the LAUNCH mission phase. During the Post-Launch mission phase, Alice ran three sets of activities:
Alice-100: Initial instrument turn on, spacecraft interface testing, and airglow aperture door unlatch and verification.
Alice-200: Full airglow aperture functionality, first standard wake-up and decontamination followed by detector door opening, then first time interactive activation of both high voltage power supplies, and first light Lyman-alpha sky background acquisition through the airglow aperture.
Alice-300: Airglow pointing and calibration, starting with a standard wakeup and decontamination followed by airglow pointing and flux calibrations on two standard stars (gamma Grus and rho Leo).
The observations in this volume are stored in data files using standard Flexible Image Transport Sytem (FITS) format. Each FITS file has a corresponding detached PDS label file, named according to a common convention. The FITS files have image and/or table extensions; see the PDS label plus the DOCUMENT files for a description of these extensions and their contents.
