Final Plots and Listings of Jupiter Occultation Data (Digitized)

Availability: Data Identified but not Received

Time span: 1973-12-04 to 1973-12-04

This collection consists of digital scans of listings of the outputs from the intermediate and final programs used to analyze Pioneer 10 and Pioneer 11 data resulting from occultations of Jupiter on 4 December 1973 and 3 December 1974, respectively. These data include the derived atmospheric parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, lapse rate) that appear nowhere else. Other outputs, resulting from intermediate programs, are also listed. These data were received from the principal investigator.

For this digitization effort the NSSDCA scanned the source microfilm that contains collection PSPA-00320 at a resolution of 400 dots per inch and output each frame on the film as one TIFF file. The NSSDCA also combined the TIFF images into a multipage PDF file to facilitate browsing. Both formats are included in this collection.
