Description

This data set consists of 35-mm black and white film transparencies of the geologic samples from the Apollo 12 mission. A Besseler topcon super D camera was used for this photography. The photos show lunar rock samples in containers located in the Lunar Receiving Laboratory (LRL). Some samples have their assigned numbers displayed, some are illustrated beside a cm ruler, and others show thin sections of lunar rock. The quality of the photos is generally very good.
