Description

This data set was prepared from black and white master positive 5- by 48-in. film with density quality control (logetronic) using exposure control and dodging techniques. The data were reproduced from the original 5- by 48-in. 3414 black and white film used with the panorama 24-in. camera in the simbay of the CSM. The quality of the photographs is generally very good and includes some near-terminator coverage. Some other areas covered by these photographs are Hadley rill, the Apennines mountains, the LM landing site, the Aristarchus region, the Littrow region including the noted volcanic cones and Tsiolkovsky and the surrounding area on the farside of the moon.
