Event Plots and Supporting Information for Active Seismic Data (Digitized)

Availability: Data Identified but not Received

This collection consists of digitized microfilm frames containing support data and active seismic event plots detected from an astronaut-activated thumper, a mortar package that contained rocket-launched grenades, and the impulse produced by the lunar module ascent. The supporting documentation is a collection of reprints and papers describing the experiment and its results. The plots are of log-compressed digital data vs time.

For this digitization effort the NSSDCA scanned the source microfilm that contains collection PSPG-00080 at a resolution of 400 dots per inch and output each frame on the film as one TIFF file. The NSSDCA also combined the TIFF images into a multipage PDF file to facilitate browsing. Both formats are included in this collection.

Alternate Names
