Plots of X-ray Fluxes During Solar Flares on Microfilm

NSSDCA ID: SOXR-00045

Availability: At NSSDC, Ready for Offline Distribution (or Staging if Digital)

Time span: 1967-07-30 to 1967-12-20

Description

This collection, provided by the principal investigator, consists of plots of solar X-ray fluxes vs time on 35-mm microfilm. This collection includes only those data obtained during solar flares. The abscissas of the plots are scaled in hours and minutes of universal time, and the ordinates are logarithmically scaled in flux units of ergs/(sq cm-s). Data for the 0.05-0.3 nm, 0.1-0.8 nm, 0.8-2 nm, and 4.4-6 nm passbands are given. Significant data gaps (about 30 min long) occurred during each orbit when the earth occulted the sun. This collection is a subset of SOXR-00068.
