This data set consists of trajectory data on EBCDIC magnetic tape created on a UNIVAC 1108 computer in IBM 360 format. The first file is a header consisting of logistics type information and identifies the tape as to content and date of generation. The second file contains the acronyms for all the requested parameters found in the third file and the calling sequence order for these parameters. The third file contains the trajectory data consisting of time in seconds (from January 1, 1950), Gregorian calendar date, time from launch (seconds); time from initial epoch of trajectory (seconds), and universal time coordinated; ephemeris data consisting of geocentric data in the inertial spherical coordinate system; heliocentric data in the inertial spherical and sun-earth Cartesian coordinate systems; Cartesian position and velocity vectors of the spacecraft from the earth, sun, Jupiter and Mars; rotating coordinate system fixed to either the earth, Jupiter, or Mars; three body angles and cone and clock angles; Cartesian position and velocity vectors of the spacecraft and the earth with respect to an inertial coordinate system centered at Jupiter-fixed coordinate system; Cartesian position vectors for the earth, moon, and sun with respect to an inertial system centered at Jupiter; Jupiter-centered inertial spherical coordinate system; earth-centered body group (earth's true orbit of date). This data set is held at JPL and is available from there through Dr. Roger Craig.
