Skyplate images (or Sky Flux Plates) are a high-resolution presentation of the IRAS Hours-CONfirmed (HCON) sky surveys in image form. There were three sets of hours-confirming scans - HCON-1, HCON-2, and HCON-3. The scans are represented by 212 fields covering the entire celestial sphere. Each field is 16.5x16.5 degrees, and has been imaged in four wavelength bands with 2 arcminute pixels and 4-6 arcminute resolution. The Best of Three is a dataset consisting of the best fields from either HCON-1, -2, or -3.
