1.2 s Resolution Plots, SEQ Coordinates (Digitized)

Availability: Data Identified but not Received

This collection consists of digitized microfilm frames containing 1 hour of 1.2-second average vector magnetic field data plots per frame (30 minutes across the frame, twice). The data consist of field latitude and longitude angles and standard deviations in quasi-payload coordinates (Z along spin axis, X along spacecraft-sun line). Listed each 30 minutes are spacecraft positions in solar ecliptic coordinates (Cartesian component and radial distance).

For this digitization effort the NSSDCA scanned the source microfilm collection PSFP-00198 at a resolution of 400 dots per inch and output each frame on the film as one TIFF file. The NSSDCA also combined groups of these TIFF images into multipage PDF files to facilitate browsing. Both formats are included in this collection.
