Description

This data set consists of volume 2 of a two-volume set and contains a comparison (in Russian) of panoramas of the lunar surface taken from the soft-landers Luna 9 and Luna 13. The book contains discussions on flight conditions, scientific apparatus (penetrometer and radiation densitometer), soil mechanics, results of scientific research, photogrammetric properties of the lunar panorama, locality of Luna 13, lunar relief, stereo studies of lunar rocks, morphological characteristics of the landing site, and topography. Half-tone prints of the photos are included. This data set may be viewed at NSSDC, or may be obtained under special request as microfiche, which will be limited in quality for the photographs.
