This data set consists of 10-min average interplanetary fluxes for protons, alphas, and electrons from the Low Energy Telescope (LET) instrument in the COSPIN experiment on Ulysses. The LET data include spin-averaged fluxes (/cm2 s sr MeV) in various channels for protons at 0.9 - 19 MeV, alphas at 1.0 - 19 MeV, heavier ions at 1.9 - 75 MeV, and electrons at 0.3 - 1.0 MeV. Directional fluxes are provided in eight spin sectors separately for 1.8 - 3.8 MeV and 3.8 - 8.0 MeV protons. Some additional counting rates from single detectors are also included. There are 38 instrument data channels in the data set. The data file format is ASCII with one file per day, and a accompanying text file describes the record format. Some spurious spikes still remain in the data records. Large excursions confined to a single 10 minute interval should therefore be viewed with suspicion. It is recommended that the COSPIN team be contacted before extensive interpretation and analysis of these counting rate data is undertaken. This data set was provided to NSSDC and updated through the Ulysses Data System at ESA's ESTEC facility. Further details about the data and the experiment may be found in Simpson et al., Astron. Astrophys. Suppl. Ser., 92(2), 365-399. 1992.
