This data set from the solar wind plasma ion instrument on the Ulysses SWOOPS experiment includes hourly average data including bulk velocity flow components in RTN coordinates, proton and alpha number densities, and upper and lower limits on proton temperature. Spacecraft time (SCET-UT) and position (heliographic coordinates) are given for each measurement interval. The high resolution data files in the on-line data set (see below) each cover three months through 1994 and one month thereafter, while the hourly data are in one-year files. The data set is provided in ASCII format and accompanied by text files including a user's guide and errata to this guide. The solar wind ion instrument is described in Bame, S. J., et al., "The Ulysses solar wind plasma experiment," Astron. Astrophys. Suppl. Ser., 92, No. 2, 237-265, Jan. 1992.
