Mission Name: OGO 2This experiment was to study, at high latitudes, the precipitation of low-energy particles, (75 to 7.5E4 eV) including solar cosmic rays and geomagnetically trapped particles, using a cylindrical electrostatic analyzer and surface barrier silicon detectors. The experiment was operating normally when the spacecraft was shut down on November 1, 1967.
