Description

The SL-1 Radiation Detector, also denoted the "SL-1 Radiometer" in translations of Russian documents, was designed to measure hard corpuscular radiation to study the radiation environment of the Moon. The instrument was mounted on top of the instrument compartment of the Luna spacecraft.
