NSSDCA ID: 1978-079A-11
Mission Name: ISEE 3This experiment consisted of a hemispherical electrostatic energy analyzer and a Wien velocity filter configured as a mass spectrometer to determine the charge state and isotopic constitution of the solar wind. The instrument had an energy-per-unit-charge range of 0.84 to 11.7 keV per charge, a mass-per-unit-charge range of 1.5 to 5.6 u per charge, and a velocity range of 300 to 600 km/s.
Mass: 5.6 kg
Power (avg): 3 W
