Cosmos 50



Cosmos 50 was a first generation, low resolution Soviet photo surveillance satellite launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome aboard a Vostok rocket. It was an unsuccessful mission due to a failure of the braking engine system. The spacecraft self destructed in orbit after eight days.
