Description

Cosmos 235 was a first generation, low resolution Soviet photo surveillance satellite launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome aboard a Soyuz rocket. The film capsule was recovered after 8 days. The mission was partially successful. There was hard landing due to parachute system failure. Thirty percent of the film was damaged.
