Cosmos 741



Cosmos 741 was a Soviet photo surveillance satellite launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome via a Soyuz rocket. The Zenit-2M type satellite was used for earth resources studies as part of the Gektor-Priroda project. It conducted investigations of the natural resources of the Earth in the interests of various branches of the national economy of the USSR and international cooperation.
