LES 9

NSSDCA/COSPAR ID: 1976-023B

Description

The satellite pair LES 8 and LES 9 was launched from the same vehicle. The satellites were stabilized in all three axes by a momentum-exchange system, so that the antenna orientation toward earth was maintained.
