Soyuz 21 was a Soviet manned spacecraft launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. It carried Cosmonauts Volynov and Zholobov and docked with the Salyut 5 space station. The mission was to last two months but was cut short by a gradually worstening illness of Zholobov. The capsule landed 200 km SW of Kokchetav.
