Soyuz-T 3

Description

Soyuz T-3 was a manned Soviet mission launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome and docked with the Salyuz 6 space station. Its three man crew consisted of cosmonauts Leonid Kizim (Commander), Oleg Makarov (Flight Engineer), and Gennady Strekalov (Flight Engineer). Its purpose was to perform tests of the improved transport ship of the Soyuz T series. It was recovered on December 10, 1980 at 9:26 GMT.
