Cosmos 1379 was a Soviet ASAT interceptor launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome aboard a Tsyklon 2 rocket. It succeeded in the intercept of the Cosmos 1375 target and deorbited using on-board engine. It was the final test of the ASAT series.
