Cosmos 1786 was a Soviet calibration mission launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome aboard a Zenit 2 rocket. It's been tenatively identified as a third generation replacement for Taifun-2, perhaps to have been launched by the Tsyklon 3 launch vehicle.
