Meteor 2-15



Meteor 2-15 was a USSR launched satellite utilizing equipment for obtaining global pictures of cloudiness and the underlying surface in the visible and infrared ranges of the spectrum. Devices aboard include: radiometric equipment for round-the-clock observation of the flows of penetrating radiations in near-earth space; scientific instruments for continuing space research; radio systems for precise orbital measurements; and a radio telemetry system.
