Description

Cosmos 1882 was a Soviet remote sensing satellite launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome aboard a Soyuz rocket. Its purpose was to investigate the natural resources of the earth in the interests of various branches of the national economy of the USSR and international cooperation. It remained in operation for 21 days.
