Solidaridad 1



Solidaridad-1, a Mexican geostationary communcations spacecraft, was launched by an Ariane 44 LP rocket. It provided television, telecommunications, data, facsimile, and business network services in C-band and Ku-band, and mobile communications in L-band. The Solidaridad satellites covered the Mexican republic, with spot beam for the Caribbean, the southern US, and South America.
